January 2026
We made it! We’re through the busy season - and I FINALLY have time to update the blog my friends! THANK YOU for such a busy holiday season! We ended the year with the biggest order yet! My heart was truly overjoyed to fulfill it. This business is built on a lot of helping hands from my sister, my mom, my husband ….my best friend….the neighborhood of Uni Place and of course the best customers one could ask for! You make this space special.
I can’t believe it - but we’re about to celebrate turning 6! Six years and so many candles later we’re happy to still be here doing what we love. If you can join our celebration it will be hosted here at Copper on Friday, Feb. 6th from 5-8pm! Stop in to see what’s new & grab some refreshments. With it also being First Friday make sure you explore other businesses and art studios in the area - grab a drink at DAME or Bar 48 to end the night!
We have been working hard on a new product release for the occasion! Eau de Parfum! Now that we have the recipe down after months of testing we’re so close to setting a release date…. currently awaiting a final adornment…but it’s SO CLOSE! Follow us on social media @copperwaxco for the updates!
We already have a few markets on the books as well! This Sunday, find us at Wilderness Ridge with Creative Collabs for the annual Sweetheart Soiree!
Spring Junkstock is right around the corner as well! So don’t mind the studio as we start to collect random vintage items and vessels to prep!
In some other major news…..We will be expanding our production area! We will be moving our making facility to my home garage, aka the “Candle Cottage” for a little more elbow room! Don’t fear, nothing with the storefront will change! You can still bring your car diffusers in for refills as well as your candle containers. Just the heavy lifting will be done off site in the coming months. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
On a more serious note, with the hectic state of our country right now we want to remind you that Copper is a safe space. We’re here for all of our neighbors including the immigrant community. We hope you’re staying warm this winter and holding your loved ones close!
